Model Teachers

Mr. and Mrs. Brown are the model teachers in our office.

Every week they give lessons to three different levels of students. Before class, they prepare the corresponding materials for each level. Then, after class, they correct around 400 exercise books containing students’ original journals. While correcting, they will communicate students’ performance to us. They say some students’ compositions are even better than those of their students in America. Some articles are written naturally and smoothly. Some are creative and interesting, having lots of imaginary ideas, while others are awkward and difficult to read. They ask us if the thought comes from the Chinese language.

Mr. and Mrs. Brown are extremely devoted to their work. Last Wednesday afternoon, they went to Yi Fu Theater to enjoy a ballet dancing. After the show, they didn’t go straight home. Instead, they came back to the office, just to correct student’s homework.

They are also very careful with the office routine work. Every evening, before they leave the office, they will make sure the public computer has been turned off and all the windows have been closed.

模范教师

布朗夫妇是我们办公室里的模范教师。

每星期他们要给三个不同年级的学生上课。课前，他们为每一年级准备相应的材料。课后，他们批改大约400本学生作业，作业绝不雷同，都是学生原创的英语杂记。布朗夫妇一边批改，一边与我们交流学生的作业表现。他们说：有的学生写得比他们在美国的学生还要棒，有的学生书写流畅、自然，有的学生富有想象力，文章读起来饶有兴趣，然而也有些作文语言生硬，很难读懂，他们会问我们，是否这些想法来自于中国的语言。

布朗夫妇工作很敬业。上周三下午，他们去逸夫舞台观看芭蕾舞表演。演出结束后，他们并没有直接回家。而是返回学校，批改作业。

布朗夫妇对办公室里的常规工作也很细心。每天下班，他们都会检查办公室里的公用电脑是否关闭，窗户是否关好。
